DISTINGUISHED AND GENEROUS WINE Listed as a wine-growing property in 1881, Château Landat was already considered a cru bourgeois in 1908. This property was renowned for producing charming and elegant wines. In the mid-1970s, it was bought by Gabriel Fabre from Mr. Normandin, owner at the time.

Product Description

The vineyard of Château Landat is located on the one hand in the north of the commune of CISSAC and on the other hand on the plateau of VERTHEUIL. The soils composed of clayey gravel and sand rest on a clayey subsoil. This wine has a shimmering color, a fine and elegant bouquet. On aeration, we find aromas of black fruits, nougatine and toast. The mouth remains supple and fleshy. Beautiful aromatic persistence. With age, Château Landat develops tertiary aromas of musk, undergrowth as well as complex woody nuances. This wine will go very well alongside red meats or characterful cheeses.
