Located on a terroir of Pyrenean gravel bordering the AOC Saint-Estèphe The vines are planted on the upper part of the commune of VERTHEUIL, a plateau where vineyards have existed since time immemorial. This vineyard of Château La Tonnelle produces round and gourmet wines from their youth. This suppleness is enriched by a fruity aspect as well as a beautiful tannic structure due to its majority of Cabernet Sauvignon but also to a non-negligible share of Petit Verdot (5% of the surface area of the vineyard). This wine will go particularly well alongside grilled meats.
